A few weeks ago, Barcelonesa\u2019s Agrochemical<\/strong> team attended the “UNE National Seminars on inputs for the new organic market” held in Almeria. During the event the organic certification was presented according to the UNE standards. These standards are aimed at regulating the use of inputs (fertilisers and phytosanitary products) in certified organic plant production, in order to eliminate fraud and improve customer trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The application of this initiative will help companies like Barcelonesa to detect and safely offer more organic and natural agrochemical products<\/strong> that respect the environment and improve agricultural productivity. This new regulation will also provide value to the currently certified organic products that meet the requirements of these standards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNE 142500<\/strong>: products for nutrition, conditioning and\/or support and improvement of crops and soils2. UNE 315500<\/strong>: products for pest and disease management3. UNE 66500<\/strong>: minimum requirements for the certification of usable inputs in organic farming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, traditional certifications will coexist with UNE standards, which represent one step more within the regulatory framework of organic production, and offer additional guarantees to farmers and end consumers with respect to existing ones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agrochemical division of Barcelonesa is prepared to assume these changes, following strict standards and providing high-quality chemical products<\/strong> that meet all the required horizontal regulations. We currently have UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015, QUALITY and UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015, ENVIRONMENT, which guarantee traceability and quality management requirements in our facilities.  We also have highly qualified personnel and our own laboratory to search for solutions adapted to the new trends of market demands and the needs of our client. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
