How muchCO2 can EnviPoxy reduce?
The use of 1 ton of EnviPoxy instead of normal liquid resin reduces carbon dioxide (CO2) production by 5.5 tons1.
What does this figure mean for practical purposes?
To put it in perspective, let’s take as a reference the amount ofCO2 emitted by a utility car, such as those owned by many households.
When driving such a car in the city, it would emit an average of about 122 g ofCO2 per kilometer driven2.
Therefore, 4 tons ofCO2 is equivalent to the amount emitted into the atmosphere by a car that has been driven for approximately 45,000 kilometers (5,500 kg/0.122 kg).
