One of these partners is Yillong, a manufacturer with its own production facilities, whose support strengthens our Coatings offering in terms of pigments and fillers as well as rheological and functional additives. This collaboration allows us to comprehensively cover formulation needs, from colour and opacity to rheological control and application behaviour.
Pigments and fillers: colour, opacity and stability
Fixed White – Natural Barite
Barium sulphate is a functional filler used in formulations where stability, colour neutrality and finish quality are required. Available in natural (barite) and synthetic (fixed white) versions, it helps to adjust the behaviour of the coating while maintaining high consistency between batches.
Its use contributes to improving the stability of the system and the final finish, making it a common solution in technical and decorative formulations.
Feonox – Iron oxides
The Feonox range includes inorganic iron oxides characterised by their high chemical stability and weather resistance. These pigments provide stable and durable colour, even in applications exposed to UV radiation or demanding environmental conditions.
Thanks to their wide colour range, they allow the final shade of the coating to be precisely adjusted, while maintaining reliable long-term performance. Micronised types are available.
Tionox – Titanium dioxide
Tionox titanium dioxide is a key component in formulations where whiteness, opacity and brightness are crucial. The range includes Rutile grades (both Chloride and Sulphate types) and Anatase, adapted to different systems and application requirements.
These solutions are designed to offer consistent optical performance, facilitating the formulation of coatings with high aesthetic and functional standards.
Rheological and functional additives: control and processability
Bentogel – Rheological additives based on clay modified with organic additives
The Bentogel range includes rheological additives designed to control viscosity and thixotropy in water-based and solvent-based systems.
These additives help to:
- Improve system stability
- Reduce pigment and filler sedimentation
- Optimise coating behaviour during application
They are a key solution for formulations that require precise and reproducible rheological control.
Celocell – Cellulose ethers
Celocell cellulose ethers are water-soluble thickeners derived from high-purity cotton, widely used in sectors such as Coatings and Construction.
They provide rheological control, stability and consistency in water-based formulations, being particularly relevant in applications where application behaviour and final product stability are critical.
