REACH regulation guaranteeing the safe use of chemicals

On 31 May 2018, the final transitional phase for the registration of chemicals above 100 tonnes/year ended, in line with REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. The regulation aims to improve health and environmental protection against the risks inherent in the manufacture, sale and use of chemicals. From 1 June 2018, all chemicals for which over 1 tonne/year is brought into the European Union must be registered with the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency: https://echa.europa.eu).

Barcelonesa is aware of the requirements set out in the REACH regulation and has followed all the relevant procedures since its approval in 2006 to allow us to continue selling our products and guarantee compliance with the objectives of the regulation.
